A blue sparking marble capers on an
Ocean of nothing.
Awaking amidst our dreams
We bounce in her majestic wake
And find there is only dreaming.
Our fantasies fly across
Her shimmering green locks.
Our spirits surge through
Her glistening sapphiric oceans,
Breaking into life upon the surface.
Isn’t it Beautiful?
Swirling, rough, jagged dangers,
Glorious clouds of dust and destruction
Litter the vast nothingness beyond her.
Gaia guides us through the
Void of space immortal.
Its exquisite harmony
Reverberates through the nothingness,
Crashing catastrophically upon celestial bodies.
Their suffering is but a distant reflection of a
Tomorrow torn by thunderous clouds.
Nothingness watches
Mortal mistakes refashioned in
An earthly furnace.
Gaia watches through the aeons
As we die.
Isn’t it Beautiful?
Her precious tears
Rage down her snowy cheeks,
To douse the licking flames of
Her mortal coil.
We tremble within,
Afraid of mere thought.
Hammering, bending and cutting
Tirelessly torturing metal upon her heart
Whetting the blades of misfortune.
Fumes cloud the sky,
And the stars, they cry heavenly tears
Permanently smearing the black
Canvas of God’s masterpiece.
Life and death
Fondle playfully.
Love, ever demure,
Closes his eyes.
Our sickly slivering fingers
Turn sickles into Gaia.
She screams silently.
She gave unconditionally.
She protected unconditionally.
She is pillaged mercilessly.
She is ravaged relentlessly.
Unconditional love
Marred by
Intolerable Cruelty.
Time’s vice tightens.
A final, pyrrhic sigh
Pours through the sickles.
Isn’t it beautiful?
I free a dream
Where I rest against your
Celestial chest and hear
No conflict but a musical heart.
If I could walk
Hand in hand
While the world
Seeps through the poison
Into
Nothingness…
